The Role:

The MIS team at New City College is a diverse team covering Exams, Student Data & Timetabling, Registry, Apprenticeships, ILR and Reporting.  The Course file Coordinator role sits within the Student Data and Timetabling team, but the scope of the responsibilities has lots of cross overs with all of the teams, so plays a pivotal role in the department.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an MIS professional to gain and develop essential skills to help them progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on the administration and management of the College Course file within the MIS system ProSolution

Assist MIS and Curriculum managers with the Curriculum and Business Planning process

Give advice and guidance to Curriculum managers on course and student eligibility

Work closely with the ILR team to ensure data and funding accuracy

Assist with the timetabling process and compliance for audit

Who You Are:

Ideal candidates will have MIS experience within an FE college, if not evidence of strong administration skills.

A sound knowledge of FE funding methodologies is advantageous, as is experience with ProSolution.

Candidates must have excellent attention to detail as they will be working with large volumes of complex data.

Candidates must have strong communication skills, as liaising with Curriculum managers at all levels of the organisation is required.

Strong in the use of Excel and the aptitude to learn more technical skills is a real advantage, as is Timetabling experience.
