The Role:                    

We have an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic intent for HE at NCC as the Group Director for HE Development and Partnerships

The role will include liaising with existing partners and developing the long term growth strategy, with an initial focus on our teacher training provision. You will be responsible for compliance with Ofsted as well as awarding body requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • The brand development , marketing , delivery and growth of a Teaching Training L4-7 specialism aligned with the SIs in SEND, English and maths and aligned with the Teaching and Lab; the former focusing on training new and external education professionals and the latter focusing on internal CPD
  • The compliance oversight of central submissions required of NCC as a centre under Ofsted and awarding bodies for L4+
  • The partnerships with other HEIs in the delivery of FY programmes and the expansion of this network as a viable alternative income stream
  • NCC strategic voice in the HE sector apropos the White paper through membership of MEG etc
  • The identification of additional income streams and opportunities once the current plans are established
  • Management of the small permanent HE support team

Who You Are:

You  will  have a strong working knowledge of HE delivery and regulatory bodies, and will understand the current UK HE  landscape. We are seeking someone with significant management experience and ideally some understanding of how FE colleges work in this space.
