The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of International (Maternity Cover) to lead and manage our International Department at New City College. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving international student recruitment, managing overseas applications, and leading on international projects and partnerships.

You will work cross-college to promote internationalisation, generate income through new initiatives, and ensure compliance with UKVI regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the college international strategy during a key period.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the International Department, managing staff and operations

Develop and maintain international partnerships and secure funding from sources such as Turing and the British Council.

Oversee the recruitment of international fee-paying students, working closely with agents and the Marketing team.

Manage the overseas application process in collaboration with Admissions, Finance, and MIS teams.

Ensure compliance with UKVI sponsorship requirements and visa regulations.

Monitor departmental finances and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.

Line manage the international team and support their professional development.

You are able to:

Manage a small team successfully and support their professional development
