The Role:

Join Our Creative Team as a Part-Time Lecturer in Art & Design. 

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of artists and designers? We looking for a well-qualified, innovative, and enthusiastic Part-Time Lecturer in Art & Design to join our dynamic and supportive team within the Creative Industries Subject Area. 

As part of a vibrant department committed to excellence, you¼ play a key role in shaping a rich and stimulating learning environment. You¼ bring fresh ideas, industry insight, and a genuine passion for teaching to help our students thrive creatively and professionally. 

Key Responsibilities:

You will be required to contribute to the teaching on a range of BTEC courses from Level 1 to Level 3. A practical art & design specialism is desirable, as is experience of the use of Adobe Creative packages such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Further specialisms in fine art painting, printmaking, ceramics, 3D design or textiles would be an advantage.  

Who You Are:

With a relevant degree (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards this), the successful candidate must have proven experience of teaching and preparing relevant materials. You must have an awareness of the pastoral and academic needs of students from a variety of backgrounds and a commitment to inclusive education.
