The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to the Deputy Principal and contribute to the smooth running of the College’s senior leadership team. This is a key role requiring excellent organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

In addition to supporting the Deputy Principal, you will assist with College-wide activities such as enrolment, parents’ evenings, open days, and other initiatives. Flexibility to support across campuses and departments during busy periods is essential.

Location: Tower Hamlets Campus (near Canary Wharf)

Contract: 20 hours a week, term-time only, 3 days per week (school holidays off, term time runs from mid-August to mid-July annually).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Deputy Principal’s diary, correspondence, meetings, and travel.
  • Handle confidential matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Prepare professional documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Support governance processes and assist with committee papers and minutes.
  • Coordinate College-wide events and formal visits.
  • Collaborate with admin teams to support the Senior Management Team.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Deputy Principal.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in executive-level PA or administrative roles.
  • Discreet, professional, and highly organised.
  • Skilled in communication, document preparation, and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work across departments and campuses.
  • Experience in education or the public sector is a plus.
