The Role:

Looking for an exciting unique opportunity working in the executive office of the Group Principal & CEO?

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, proactive Personal Assistant to Executive Office to support the Executive Assistant to the Group Principal and CEO.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in supporting at executive level, in a fast-paced environment.

Working under the Executive Assistant to the Group Principal & CEO, you will be responsible for supporting effective administration and organisation to a high standard, working flexibly across a number of different campuses on a wide variety of tasks.

This role will be expected to work across all New City College campuses (Poplar, Arbour Square, Hackney, Hackney Sixth Form, Ardleigh Green, Wingletye Lane, Rainham, Epping, Redbridge).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diary Management: Supporting with the organising and maintenance the Group Principal & CEO’s schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

• Meeting Support: Setting up of meetings including collating and distributing reports, hospitality arrangements and minute taking.

• Communication: Handling correspondence, emails, and phone calls, and acting as a liaison between the Executive Director and internal/external stakeholders.

• Administrative Support: Preparing reports, presentations, and documents, and managing confidential information with discretion.

• Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of high-level events, visits and initiatives.

• Dealing with confidential and sensitive matters: Working in a highly-confidential environment, maintaining a professional approach to sensitive and confidential information.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in working as a personal assistant or in similar role, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure, working to strict deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and understanding of data protection and compliance requirements.

• Proactive working using initiative with the ability to work both as a team and individually.

• Excellent communicator, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders.

• Flexibility in all aspects of the role such as working practices, hours and location depending on the requirements of the Group Principal & CEO.

Working Patterns:

The College core working hours are between 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

This role is advertised full time (35 hours / 52 weeks) however alternative proposals may be considered subject to business need, and should be clearly outlined on your application form.

This role will be across the whole college group and you will be expected to work onsite and to travel to all campuses to support the Group Principal & CEO.
