The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Curriculum Manager to lead our Health Sciences, Early Years and Social Care provision. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to drive curriculum innovation, maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and support the continued growth and success of our programme area.
Reporting to the Group Curriculum Director, you will play a key role in curriculum development, staff management, and operational delivery, ensuring an outstanding student experience and strong outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage curriculum delivery across Health Sciences, Early Years and Social Care, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
• Oversee student progress, achievement, and overall course performance
• Manage and develop staff through performance reviews, coaching, and support
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the programme, including course planning and delivery
• Support curriculum development, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder engagement (including employers and external partners)
Who You Are:
• A degree or relevant professional qualification and a teaching qualification (or working towards one)
• Significant teaching experience in a related subject
• Proven experience in curriculum development and quality improvement
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A strong understanding of Further Education and post-16 provision
