The Role:
We are a thriving and ambitious Sports department, delivering high quality teaching to predominantly 16–19 year old learners. We offer a wide range of vocational sport programmes alongside sports academy and enrichment pathways. As a Lecturer in Sport & Fitness, you will deliver engaging, industry relevant teaching across our curriculum.

It has two key sites—Chadwell Heath and Ilford—and is recognised for offering industry standard learning spaces and real world experience across a range of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, high quality Sport & Fitness teaching and contribute to Public Services where needed.
• Plan lessons, assess student work, and maintain accurate records.
• Support learner progress through feedback, monitoring, and pastoral guidance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and uphold safeguarding standards.
• Take part in professional development and support enrichment or employability activities.
Who You Are:
• An enthusiastic Sport & Fitness professional with strong industry experience.
• Confident teaching or coaching in post compulsory education.
• Able to deliver engaging, high quality lessons that motivate 16–19 year old learners.
• Holder of a recognised teaching qualification.
• Supportive, organised, and committed to helping students achieve their goals.
• A positive communicator who builds good relationships with learners and colleagues.
• Willing to contribute to Public Services teaching when required.
• Ideally holding assessor qualifications (A1, V1, or TAQA).
• A collaborative team player who embraces innovation and continuous professional development.
