Are you the special person we need to complement our already outstanding team in the Animal Studies Department?
We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic and committed team teaching a range of animal management courses from Level 1 to Level 6. You will have the ability to teach both practical and theoretical aspects of animal management to our Level 3 and Top Up degree students and be confident in delivering and assessing animal nursing related theory and skills. This role will involve both classroom and practical based teaching and will include sessions on our Animal Care Unit. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be experienced in motivating young people and adults to achieve the most from their time at College, and sensitive to your learners’ needs whilst enabling them to express and reach their true potential.
The successful applicant will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse, educated to degree level, and ideally holding an Advanced Surgical or Medical Diploma, and able to deliver high quality teaching and assessment to our learners across this outstanding department.
Your job will be to work with both Further and Higher Education learners from Level 3 to Level 6 and to inspire them to reach their goals and achieve success. Candidates should be innovative and pro-active in their approach to working with learners and have a commitment to further training and development as new initiatives evolve.
