Lionheart Educational Trust have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher and leader to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning, wellbeing, and future aspirations.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Subject Lead for Physical Education to join our thriving and forward‑thinking team at The Newbridge School. We are seeking applicants with strong subject knowledge in Physical Education, a passion for sport and physical activity, and the vision and leadership skills to develop and deliver an engaging, inclusive, and ambitious PE curriculum.
As Subject Lead, you will take responsibility for driving high‑quality teaching and learning in PE, ensuring excellent outcomes for all students, and promoting participation, health, and wellbeing across the school. You will lead curriculum planning and development, support and coach colleagues, and monitor the quality of provision to ensure consistently high standards.
The successful candidate will also play an important role as a form tutor, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, promoting strong behaviour and engagement, and supporting students’ personal development. You will contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular sport and enrichment opportunities.
