We're looking for a Hospitality Assessor & Tutor (22.2 hours per week, all year) to join our brilliant team. In this role, you'll support and guide apprentices across a range of hospitality programmes, including Commis Chef and Food Production, helping them grow their skills and confidence both in the classroom and in the workplace.
You will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and workshops that bring hospitality to life.
- Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey, from induction to achievement.
- Visit apprentices in the workplaces, building strong relationships with employers (expenses will be reimbursed).
- Create and assess assignments that challenge and inspire.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
You need to:
- Be a qualified professional with experience in the catering or hospitality industry (Level 3 or above).
- Have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe).
- Have a Level 3 Assessor Award (or be willing to obtain during employment).
- Be someone who enjoys mentoring and has a knack for motivating learners.
- Be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Be a team player who's also comfortable working independently.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusive education.
