Are you a qualified plumber who's ready to pass on your knowledge and experience to the next generation? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our team.
We’re looking for a Plumbing Assessor who can support and guide apprentices through their training journey—both in college and on-site. You’ll be the go-to person for assessing progress, offering feedback, and helping learners succeed in their careers.
You will:
- Visit apprentices in the workplace to assess their skills and support their development
- Review evidence and ensure it meets industry standards
- Work closely with employers to ensure training is relevant and effective
- Support learners with advice, encouragement and clear guidance
- Keep accurate records of progress, visits and assessments
- Help shape the future of plumbing training by contributing to course planning and quality assurance
You will need to:
- Have a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing
- Have Gas Certification
- Have hands-on experience in the plumbing trade
- Possess great communication and people skills
- Have a passion for helping others learn and grow
- Have confidence using digital tools (or a willingness to learn)
- Have a full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed through expenses)
