We're looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of our learners. You'll be the behind-the-scenes hero, calm in the classroom storm and the go-to guid for learners who need a little extra support to shine.
You will:
- Support students 1:1 or in small groups, helping them navigate their learnng journey with confidence
- Translate teach-speak to student-speak (and back again!)
- Encourage independence, resilience and the occasional "aha!" moment
- Use your creativity to adapt resources and activities to suit individual needs
- Keep records like a pro, because progress matters
- Collaborate with a brilliant team of LSAs, tutors and support staff who are just as passionate as you are
You will need:
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (or willling to obtain in employment)
- A genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
- Patience, empathy and a sense of humour (essential!)
- Confidence with technology, especially assistance tools and Microsoft Office
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Extra desirable attributes if you have experience with Specific Learning Differences, disabilities or sensory impairments, can scribe, read or interpret learning materials and know your way around ProMonitor (or are willing to learn).

This role is available on a range of contract sizes from 20 hours per week to 30, term time only. This role is based at North Star campus.
