Are you fluent in Python, passionate about pegagogy and partial to a bit of esports? As a Lecturer in Computing, you will:
- Teach and inspire students across a range of courses including A-Level Computer Science, Digital T-Levels , BTEC Computing and Esports
- Bring programming languages like Python, Visual Basic and JavaScript to life, or dive into the world of networking, IT support and cybersecurity
- Shape the future of digital education with hands-on, industry-relevant learning in our state-of-the-art labs and Microsoft Classroom
- Collaborate with employers like Nationwide and Apps-Broker to keep our curriculum cutting-edge
- Support learners from Level 1 to Level 5, including apprenticeships and higher education
To apply for this role, you will need:
- A degree in Computing or a related field, plus a Level 5 teaching qualification (or equivalent) or willing to achieve during employment
- A competence in at least 2 programming languages or a strong grasp of networking and IT infrastructure
- A passion for education, innovation and helping students thrive in a tech-driven world
- Preference if you have worked in Digital T-Levels, apprenticeships or esports
This role is 0.9FTE.
