We are a popular and successful mixed 11-18 rural comprehensive school with c. 1150 NOR, situated ten miles north-west of Gloucester city, within three miles of the Herefordshire border. We are a high achieving school at the very heart of our community. We have a strong tradition of academic success within a positive and caring learning environment based upon mutual trust and respect.

We continue to be a good school, as confirmed by Ofsted following their visit in May 2024, offering a high quality of education with recent observations recognising that our students are making strong progress in the majority of subjects.  In addition, it was rightly observed that our students feel safe, and are safe, in school. The successful candidate will provide organisational and administrative support to the SEN, to maintain efficient systems within the school.

Those applicants with experience would be involved in developing themselves and supporting in specific areas ensuring the setting of high expectations, helping us secure further school wide improvements. Those new to the role can expect support and training using their skills, duration of their induction period.
