An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational teacher to join our well-established Design Technology Department. This position is specifically in the Food and Catering curriculum area and is full time, permanent and will commence as soon as possible.
We have a strong tradition of academic success at KS4 and KS5, and our aim is to empower students with the relevant skills needed for their future lives. An ability to teach across the full range of relevant subject would be an advantage.
All staff have access to a computer and we are committed to developing Visual Learning. The Design Technology Department is situated in two separate blocks in a suite of 7 dedicated rooms.
This position is suitable for an appropriately qualified teacher and will provide the successful candidate the possible opportunity to teach across all key stages. This post would be suitable for ECTs, as the department has close links with a number of ITT providers, and experience in mentoring colleagues new to the profession.
