Are you an experienced educator and leader ready to shape the future of electrical education?

We’re seeking a forward-thinking Curriculum Manager to lead and develop our Electrical department at Newham College. Based at our Stratford campus, you will manage a diverse portfolio of electrical courses for 16–18-year-olds and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage curriculum planning, development, and delivery aligned with employer and industry needs.

Line manage and mentor a team of teaching staff, promoting excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Monitor course performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.

•Deliver 7–12 hours of high-quality teaching weekly as a role model for the team.

Work closely with stakeholders to enhance learner employability, including work placements and progression opportunities.

What are we looking for

A relevant degree or substantial vocational experience in Electrical installation or a related field.

A teaching qualification (or currently working towards one).

Proven experience in teaching and curriculum leadership, preferably in post-16 education.

Ability to inspire teams, raise standards, and champion continuous professional development.
