Learning and Development Apprentice

This is a newly developed role which has been designed to support an enthusiastic individual who would like to progress in a career in the specialism of Learning and Development. You will undertake the Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3 apprenticeship whilst you support the existing Learning and Development Manager to deliver learning and development initiatives to staff. Every day is different, you will learn new skills and knowledge and get involved with developing programmes for all levels of employees.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• An excellent level of competency around digital systems

• A keen eye for detail, especially with manging processes

• Have a clear, and considered, approach to learning how L&D works and is delivered and taking initiative to work with your manager and coach to upskill yourself.

• To work with and contribute to minimum standards and minimum levels of quality for learning and training and record keeping

• Be comfortable leading and supporting others in keeping up their knowledge of processes

Duties of the role include:

• Manage staff development events and processes

• Contribute to data quality and process management

• Complete a relevant apprenticeship pathway

• Be responsible for managing and working with others to communicate well to our stakeholders

• Be creative, inquisitive, and solution-focussed when supporting teams in rolling out and managing new initiatives

• Be people-focussed and understand the importance of process

• Be agile and innovative against a backdrop of rapidly evolving needs and priorities

The role becoming permanent is dependant on successful completion of a level 3 apprenticeship Learning and Development Practitioner, within the designated timeframe of 18 months.
