We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Vice Principal of Adults & Skills.

About the Role:

This is a pivotal leadership role with oversight of a wide-ranging adult and skills curriculum, including:

Apprenticeships & Adult Learning Programmes

Higher Education via the London City Institute of Technology (LCIoT)

Construction, Engineering & Green Technologies

Business Development, Commercial Activity & Employer Engagement

Strategic Bidding, Project Oversight, and Work Placement Management

Local Skills Improvement Plan leadership

You will be responsible for ensuring these provisions meet the highest standards, align with local and national priorities, and support our vision of delivering world-class education that empowers our learners and strengthens our communities.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an innovative and collaborative leader who can:

Develop and deliver a responsive, inclusive adult curriculum

Drive business development and income generation

Lead on strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and funding opportunities

Align college strategy with local economic and employment needs

Be accountable for quality assurance and compliance, including Ofsted preparedness

Essential Experience & Skills:

Extensive leadership experience in FE/HE, particularly in adult and employer-led provision

Strong understanding of adult and apprenticeship funding models

Demonstrated success in securing and delivering externally funded projects

A degree and relevant teaching or assessing qualifications

Strategic vision, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to equality, sustainability, and student success
