The Governors of Newport High School are seeking to appoint a permanent Teacher of Mathematics with a TLR responsibility for Digital Competency Framework (DCF) and Numeracy who is talented, passionate and highly motivated.
Newport High School has moved to a faculty structure from September 2022 and this post will be in the Area of Learning that we call Reason. This includes Maths, Numeracy & Business Studies.
Job Purpose:
To teach students within the school and be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
To raise standards of student attainment and achievement and monitor and support student progress.
To carry out such other associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher
