The Governors of Newport High School are seeking to appoint a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027, term time only, to work in the first instance, in our Aspire Behaviour Unit, which may be subject to change, ie., working in the main school building, during the academic year
We are seeking to appoint a talented, passionate and highly motivated Teaching Assistant.
Job Purpose:
• To work usually in the classroom under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff.
• To support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom.
