The Governors of Newport High School are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics to cover maternity leave from September 1st 2026 to 31st December 2026.
We are seeking a talented, passionate and highly motivated teacher. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for their subject and also be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities and with the potential to teach KS5 or Additional Maths, depending on experience.
Job Purpose:
• To teach students within the school and be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
• To raise standards of student attainment and achievement and monitor and support student progress.
• To carry out such other associated duties as are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher
