The school serves the Bromsgrove community and currently has over 1000 students on roll.

North Bromsgrove is an exciting place in which to work and learn. Our recent ‘Good’ Ofsted Inspection (January 2023) noted ‘A calm and orderly culture which helps pupils to feel safe. Leaders have maintained their high expectations of pupils’ and ‘Teachers use their expert knowledge of their subject to explain new ideas and concepts clearly to pupils.’

There is a shared moral imperative by all members of our school to deliver an inclusive education, within our state-of-the-art facilities, which ensures that ‘everyone succeeds’ and seeks to develop the ‘whole person’.

Shires MAT formed in September 2020 and currently consists of 4 schools. Feckenham C of E Primary School is a small rural primary school with approximately 100 pupils and will see its first year 5 cohort start in September 2021. Studley High School is an oversubscribed 11-16 secondary school in Warwickshire with 800 pupils on roll. Webheath Academy Primary is an oversubscribed 2 form entry Primary School in Redditch with 420 pupils. Ridgeway Secondary school has just joined the MAT in September 2022.

Shires MAT aims to support our community in providing high quality education for all pupils and clarity of routes through a mixed two tier and three tier system locally.

Students, staff and governors at North Bromsgrove High School are celebrating after the school was judged as ‘Good’ across all areas in its recent Ofsted Inspection which took place on 25 to 26 January 2023.
