Here at NKC, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Equine Riding Instructor to join our team at Hadlow College.

Our Equine unit boasts extensive facilities including two indoor arenas, a large outdoor arena and stabling for 64 horses. To support our staff in their delivery, we have a full set of competition show jumps, portable cross-country fences and a mechanical horse to be utilised to enhance our student learning.

You will be joining a diverse team of Equine Lecturers, Riding Instructors and Equine Grooms to enhance the curriculum provision and employability of equine learners. As the Equine Riding Instructor, you will support the students in the allocation, preparation, exercising of the horses through demonstration and practical instruction. This role will be required to plan and deliver practical sessions to a wide-range of skillsets across the curriculum area, adapting your delivery to suit the needs of each group you are working with. You will work closely with industry professionals to enrich the learner experience in preparation for their next steps and support.

The successful candidate must hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in a related area and have a recognised BHS riding instruction qualification (Stage 3 or above). They will also be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard of delivery. The ideal candidate will have a positive and can-do attitude and a strong desire to utilise their coaching skills to develop the riding ability of our college students. This role offers the opportunity to work with riders of all levels in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
