Here at North Kent College, we are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Dartford team as a Learning Support Practitioner (LSP). As an LSP, you’ll play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in their chosen course on either a 1:1 basis or working with learners in small groups, across a variety of curriculum areas including English and Maths.
As part of the support you provide to these learners, you will be required to go on external visits and/or work placements where applicable. On occasion there may be a need for this role to support with pastoral support and personal care, full training will be provided as required. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the completion of administrative work, keeping records up to date and support the College with access arrangements for exams, including invigilation as required.
As an LSP, you will be a team player who has a flexible, can-do approach to their work. You will be experienced in adapting your communication style to suit each individual learner and their unique profile.

Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Dartford campus.
Your hours: 32 hours per week, 34 weeks per annum (Part Time, Term Time)
Your pay: £24,013 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent)
