An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within North Kent College’s Construction Crafts curriculum area, as a Technician.

Whether you are from industry looking for your first step into the education sector or if you are an established Technician, we want to hear from individuals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge to help unlock the potential of our students whilst guiding them through their studies.

Here at NKC, we are passionate about making our leaners work-ready and as the Technician with the department, you will play an active role in supporting this drive. Working alongside our experienced Lecturers, you will help the students navigate real-world scenarios whilst utilising our facilities at the College, building their confidence for future success.

Our Technicians work with the team to provide technical support for the delivery of the Construction Crafts courses and actively participate in enhancing the student experience. In addition to helping shape and motivate our learners throughout their course, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing learning materials in readiness for practical sessions as well as maintain the equipment and assisting with demonstrations where required. This role would suit a candidate with experience form any of the construction and finishing trades, and whilst not essential, it would be advantageous for this role to have experience with forklifts and working with woodworking machines. Full training will be provided.
