CLASS TEACHER
Northmead Junior School (part of the Athena Multi-Academy Schools Trust) are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Class Teacher from September 2021.
We require an excellent KS2 practitioner to join our thriving, well-established school. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic outstanding teacher with a creative approach to teaching who is prepared to participate in the busy life of the school.
The role would be suitable for an NQT or a teacher with more experience. We provide excellent support to newly qualified Teachers looking to start their teaching career, through our carefully planned in-house training and experienced mentor programme.
Our on-going CPD provision supports individual teacher development to enable us to grow our own leaders for the future.
The school also greatly benefits from:
• Resources for outdoor learning and sports facilities with a large field and pavilion, attractive grounds and all-weather pitch.
• Excellent range of after-school clubs run by outside agencies
• Whole school production where every pupil gets to perform
• A pottery studio with kiln
• Art carousel including Forest Schools run by our Deputy Headteacher
• And many more great opportunities for our pupils and staff to enjoy and be part of.
Please contact Stephanie Price for further information and an application form. Closing date for applications is Fricay 11th June 2021. Interviews will take place on Tuesday 15th June 2021.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via a DBS check.
