The North Star Academy Trust includes a Secondary and Primary Special School for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) between the ages of 5 and 16. With a new Alternative Learning Provision due to open in September 2024 and the onboarding of an All-Through Special School during the year, you will be joining us at an exciting stage in the Trust's development.

We are looking to appoint a reliable, self-motivated and well organised person to take on the responsibility of Estates Manager across our Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing the best possible education for our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of estates management in order to deliver safe, secure, clean and well-maintained learning environments across all Trust sites, to support student outcomes and staff well-being. We are looking for a committed team player with high standards and excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively lead on all premises related matters, contribute to the strategic development of our estates and provide excellent customer service to our school communities.

This is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week, all year round. You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years' service, as well as an additional 8 bank/public holidays. The shift pattern will be discussed at interview but a degree of flexibility will be required. The salary range is £40,221 - £43,421 per annum depending on experience.
