I would like to thank you for your interest in this very exciting role as Temporary Teacher of Science at Ysgol Cwm Brombil to Cover the Maternity of a Permanent Member of Staff. Ysgol Cwm Brombil is an all-through school which serves the community of Margam and the Upper Afan Valley in Port Talbot.
The post holder will have responsibility for a specific brief and will have opportunities to broaden their experiences by working with an innovative and professional group of staff. We are looking for an outstanding teacher who can work with us to see the realisation of our shared vision for the pupils, staff, parents/carers and the wider community. We are aspirational for our pupils and we will encourage them to aspire, believe and achieve so that they are able to leave school with success and value. We are determined to ensure that the learning experience will be vibrant, exciting, and fully inclusive and will provide a truly all-through provision.
We also have the same aspirations for our staff and will ensure high quality continuing professional development, to grow excellent practitioners and leaders, as well as creating opportunities for career development.
