Teacher of PE (girls)
Salary scale – Main Pay Range
The governing body are looking to appoint a highly motivated, well qualified person as Teacher of PE. The successful candidate will join an experienced department; committed to the principle of excellence in the learning and engagement of all young people. This is a one-year temporary post in the first instance with a view to becoming permanent for a suitable candidate; post to commence on 1st September 2025.
The ideal candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced teacher able to teach across the ability range up to and including GCSE. They will have the skills and expertise to provide challenge and opportunity for pupils to develop wider skills in lessons and to motivate pupils of all abilities and aptitudes. The teacher will be committed to learning and teaching and willing to make a significant contribution both within their subject area and to the school as a whole. You will be expected to work well with others and be committed to offering extra-curricular activities including the running of specific school teams.
