The Governing Body of Cwmafan Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and passionate headteacher who will work in partnership with a dedicated and caring staff, a well-established supportive governing body and happy, motivated children. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate.
We are looking for a Headteacher who is:-
- Dedicated to excellence in education for all children;
- Someone with high standards and expectations – ensuring every child receives the best education;
- A strategic thinker with a clear vision for continued success who will work closely and effectively with the school’s governing body;
- A leader who inspires, motivates and empowers others to ensure dynamic teamwork and collective responsibility across the whole school;
- Is an excellent communicator who will inspire children, parents and staff alike;
- A leader with a sound knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding practices and policies, Curriculum for Wales implementation and delivery, Additional Learning Needs (ALN) reform plus efficient and effective resource and budget management;
- Dedicated to understanding the importance of Cwmafan Primary school being at the heart of its community;
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record in school leadership, management and school improvement;
- Able to demonstrate a strong commitment to working in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community.
