The Governing body of Coed Hirwaun Primary School seek to appoint a suitably qualified, caring and committed individual to the fill the vacancy of a Level 23Teaching Assistant, helping to support and deliver learning to pupils. The post is based at Coed Hirwaun Primary School.
• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for an ALN/Nurture provision within the school.
• Monitor pupils’ engagement and learning, providing appropriate support to ensure positive outcomes.
• Assess, record and report on pupils’ achievement, progress and development in line with school procedures.
• Promote pupils’ social, emotional and educational development, maintaining high expectations at all times.
• Take responsibility for the management and development of a designated specialist area within the school.
• Lead, support and manage other teaching assistants, including allocation and monitoring of work.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support teaching, learning and inclusion.
The successful candidate must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 5 qualification, HLTA or equivalent in Childcare
