The Governing Body of Tairgwaith Primary School is seeking to appoint a caretaker to join a hardworking and dedicated team of staff who are fully committed to the school, its families, and the wider community.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the role with dedication and purpose, always placing the needs of the children at the heart of their work. They should also share in, and be enthusiastic about, the vision held by staff and governors for the continued development of the school.
The role includes responsibility for opening and closing the school, overseeing health and safety matters, and undertaking duties as outlined in the job description. The post requires an individual who can work on their own initiative, possesses practical skills to carry out maintenance tasks, and takes pride in their work.
The caretaker will be expected to liaise effectively with management staff to ensure that necessary work is completed to support the smooth running of the school. Flexibility is essential, particularly in meeting the needs of the school during operational hours.
