Headteacher
The Governing Body of Tairgwaith Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and passionate headteacher who will work in partnership with a dedicated and caring staff, a well-established supportive governing body and happy, motivated children. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate.
The governing body are committed to appointing a Head Teacher who:-
• Is highly inclusive and has a track record of effectively supporting all learners, setting high expectations and aspirations.
• Is a strategic thinker and an innovative leader with excellent leadership and management experience with clear examples of their impact at whole school level and beyond.
• Is forward thinking, imaginative and visionary, and able to develop an effective learning environment fit for now and in the future.
• Has a track record of developing leadership at all levels ensuring capacity and succession planning is central to school development and resource planning.
• Has proven ability to lead, challenge and empower children and professional colleagues through effective school self-evaluation and improvement processes
• Will work alongside a well-established governing body and the local authority to ensure there is a two-way flow of open and honest communication and governance.
• Has the vision and drive to promote and inspire the highest standards of teaching and learning based on pedagogical research and evidence-based practice.
• Will continue to promote a strong sense of engagement with children, parents, and the wider community promoting the importance of Tairgwaith Primary school being at the heart of its community
• Has a sound knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding practices and policies, Curriculum for Wales implementation and delivery, Additional Learning Needs (ALN) reform plus efficient and effective resource and budget management.

Salary Range: L11-L17
Salary: £67,531 - £78,116 per annum
