32.5 hours / 39 weeks per year

The Governing body of Tywyn Primary School seek to appoint suitably qualified, caring and committed teaching assistant to work within our LSC provision.

The children attending our LSC have profound, multiple learning difficulties / severe learning difficulties / moderate learning difficulties ranging from; global developmental delay, autism, complex medical needs, speech and language difficulties, visual / hearing impairment and some behavioural issues.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Committed and passionate about learning and teaching

- Dedicated to the children in their care by catering for their individual needs

- A creative and inspirational thinker with lots of innovative ideas to share

- An excellent team member with a positive attitude

- An effective motivator of children and their learning

- Committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers

- Willing to contribute to whole school development

- Experienced in supporting pupils with ALN

- Familiar with a range of intervention programmes

- Confident to use their own initiative

The successful candidate must be qualified to NVQ Level 2.
