Teaching Assistant
Required as soon as possible. Temporary until 31st August 2025, in the first instance.
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Work hours: 8.30 am - 3.00 pm
The Governing Body wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join a highly skilled and committed team. The successful applicant will be committed to excellence and will be focused on providing the very best opportunities and support for all pupils. The focus will be on providing support to those pupils who require extra help and assistance in their learning, as well as those pupils with hearing impairment.
The successful candidate will be:
enthusiastic about working with children
able to deliver a range of support and intervention strategies
a good communicator and team member, who is caring, flexible and approachable
committed to developing pupils as independent learners and thinkers
able to work collaboratively
reliable and able to take responsibility
Have an understanding of the needs associated with a range of learning difficulties, including that of hearing impairment
Welsh language skills are not necessary for this post. Applications may be submitted in Welsh, applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
