The Headteacher and Governing Body of Awel y Mor Primary School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and committed individual to the role of Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils within a mainstream primary setting.

• Have experience of working within a school environment

• Support pupils’ learning, including those with additional needs

• Demonstrate excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Work effectively as part of a team

• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour

• Use ICT to support learning

• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress

• Be committed to safeguarding and wellbeing

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils, assisting with learning activities and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Applicants should hold a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and demonstrate commitment to professional development.

DBS requirements: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and child barred list check.

Welsh Language Requirements: Welsh language skills are not essential for this post.
