The Teaching Assistant salary will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September.

This position is for 39 weeks per year.

The Governing Body, staff and pupils of Abbey Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range but specifically providing one to one care for a pupil with global developmental delay and significant learning disability. 

The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:

• Enthusiasm and self motivation

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills. 

• Good people skills with adults and children. 

• The ability to work as part of a team.
