Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn gallu:

- Dangos gweledigaeth glir wrth gynnal a datblygu ein hysgol mewn partneriaeth â'r staff, y llywodraethwyr, y rhieni a'r awdurdod lleol.

- Hybu datblygiad gwaith tîm deinamig a chyfrifoldeb ar y cyd ar draws yr ysgol.

- Arwain, rheoli ac ysgogi staff a disgyblion.

- Codi safonau cyrhaeddiad a chyflwyniad disgyblion.

- Dangos sgiliau rhyngbersonol rhagorol.

- Deall pwysigrwydd yr ysgol yng nghanol ei chymuned.

- Dangos gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth darpariaeth Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol.

- Sicrhau bod y gyllideb a phob adnodd yn yr ysgol yn cael eu rheoli'n effeithlon ac yn effeithiol.

- Dangos gyrfa lwyddiannus o ragoriaeth yn arweinyddiaeth, rheolaeth a gwelliant ysgol.

Mae Cyngor Castell-nedd Port Talbot yn gwbl ymrwymedig i ddiogelu a hyrwyddo lles plant a phobl ifanc, ac mae'n disgwyl i'r holl staff a gwirfoddolwyr rannu'r ymrwymiad hwn. Bydd asesiad recriwtio mwy diogel a thrylwyr wrth wraidd y broses recriwtio ar gyfer y swydd hon i sicrhau bod plant a phobl ifanc yn cael eu hamddiffyn.

Rhaid i ymgeiswyr nad ydynt yn Bennaeth ar hyn o bryd feddu statws CPCP pan y'i penodir.

Bydd ymgeiswyr sy'n cyrraedd y rhestr fer yn cael gwahoddiad i ymweld â'r ysgol.

Mae'r swydd hon yn amodol ar Ddatgeliad Manwl gan y Gwasanaeth Datgelu a Gwahardd.

Gellir cyflwyno ceisiadau yn Gymraeg. Ni chaiff ceisiadau a gyflwynir yn Gymraeg eu trin yn llai ffafriol na chais a gyflwynir yn Saesneg.

Headteacher
The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Headteacher who will work in partnership with a dedicated and caring staff, a supportive governing body and happy, motivated and receptive children. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate.

The successful applicant will be able to:

- Demonstrate a clear vision in maintaining and developing our school in partnership with the staff, governors, parents and the local authority.

- Promote the development of dynamic teamwork and collective responsibility across the school.

- Lead, manage and motivate staff and pupils.

- Raise standards of attainment and achievement for all pupils.

- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

- Understand the importance of the school at the heart of its community.

- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Additional Learning Needs provision.

- Ensure the efficient and effective management of the budget and all resources within the school.

- Demonstrate a proven track record in school leadership, management and school improvement.
