Applications are invited for a highly motivated, innovative and flexible teacher who has a specialism and a passion to work with pupils with ASD within the new specialist learning support centre at Dŵr y Felin.

Pay – Main Pay Scale plus ALN 1

Dŵr y Felin is a highly successful oversubscribed 11-16 Comprehensive School with excellent facilities serving the centre of Neath. The school has an excellent reputation for its academic and pastoral wellbeing. The school was selected to introduce a learning support centre dedicated to supporting pupils on the autism spectrum. The successful candidate will join an experienced and dedicated team who work solely within the Learning Support Centre.

The successful candidate must be an outstanding teacher and leader, determined and passionate at raising standards and outcomes for all learners, especially those who are on the autism spectrum. A key feature of this role will be to support the 16 pupils in the facility by ensuring that they have the appropriate provision to meet their needs.
