Hours: 27.5 hours per week
The Governing Body, staff and pupils seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed class teacher to work across the primary phase.
The successful candidate will:
- be a high calibre, inspiring teacher who plans worthwhile learning opportunities for our pupils building on the pupils’ knowledge, skills and experiences;
- be an excellent classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of how children learn successfully within the principles of the Curriculum for Wales;
- be able to provide high quality learning experiences leading towards the four purposes while developing pupils’ integral and cross-curricular skills;
- have current, up to date knowledge of the purposes of assessment and successful experience of developing pupils’ self and peer assessments against success criteria;
- maintain excellent standards of behaviour through positive relationships;
- have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to all areas of school life and all our pupils;
- be committed to their own professional learning to develop their teaching toolkit;
- be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to improving teaching and learning within our school.
