Assessor/Advisor: Electrical Maintenance Engineering (Neath College)

To carry out work place assessment and the delivery of the apprenticeship programme.

Rate of pay: Scale 6, Points 29 - 31, £26,696 - £28,508 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a Level 4 qualification in relevant Engineering discipline (NVQ/QCF or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience within an Electrical Engineering Maintenance setting and Commercial and Domestic installation. Candidates must hold Assessor Awards and Verifier Awards and hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent). You must also be IT literate equivalent to level 2.

The successful candidate will need to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure check
