Construction Centre Manager (Maesteg)

To be accountable for the day to day running of the Construction Training Centre at Maesteg. To be responsible for the development of new opportunities through community partnerships and income generating activities.

To deputise for the Director of Study/Head of School; to manage the process of data analysis within the Centre; to actively initiate and promote marketing activities within the Centre; and to assist with staff and student administrative and operational matters within the Centre.

Salary: Management Scale, Point 1, £41,919 per annum.

Contract: Full time, fixed term until 31 January 2023.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Maesteg Construction Centre)

Qualifications: Ideally, you should hold a qualification and/or experience in management, a level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline and be IT literate to level 3. You should hold a teaching or training qualification and/or experience. Experience of managing courses and students is essential.
