Essential Skills Wales Tutor/Assessor
To deliver and assess a range of Essential Skills qualifications to various groups of learners.
Rate of pay: Scale 6, Points 29 – 31, £26,659 - £28,508 per annum, pro rata.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g HNC or equivalent) and/or equivalent relevant experience and hold an Essential Skills Practitioners Certificate. You should hold a level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent), be IT literate equivalent to level 2 and hold Assessor and Verifier Awards.

The successful applicant will need to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Check.
