Instructor: Painting and Decorating (Newtown College)

To instruct learners and provide technical support, prepare materials as required in the relevant workshops

Rate of Pay: Scale 5, Points 25-28, £23,825 - £25,850 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College).

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Level 3 Advanced Craft Certificate in Painting and Decorating (NVQ or equivalent), a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience with knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. Candidates must also be IT literate to level 2. Assessor/Verifier Awards would be advantageous, although training may be provided.

The successful candidate will need to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure check
