Lead Web Application Developer

To design, develop and document IT systems and reports; to lead the development and maintenance of the Management Information Systems and ensuring they meet the College’s needs.

Rate of pay: Scale 6, Points 29 – 31, £26,696 - £28,508 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Level 6 qualification in a relevant subject (Degree or equivalent) and/or equivalent relevant experience. You should also hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT Literate to level 4 (including detailed knowledge of at least one of PL/SQL, .NET, Oracle or SQL Databases). Experience of developing applications is essential. Experience of working in an FE environment and managing procedures would be advantageous.
