Lecturer: Construction Management and Civil Engineering

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

Salary: Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £21,136 - £24,943 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £26,911 - £38,680 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

Hours of Work: Band C. Annualised hours: 417.5 – 536 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends)

Contract: Permanent, Flexible Fractional.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College, to teach at Afan, Brecon Beacons and Neath Colleges).

Qualifications: Ideally you should possess a level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and have relevant experience. Ideal candidates will hold a teaching qualification, although training may be provided. You should also hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Assessor/Verfier Awards would be advantageous.
