Library Assistant (Newtown College)

To carry out general library duties.

Rate of Pay: Scale 2, Points 14 – 16, £18,328 - £19,258 per annum, pro rata.

(Equivalent to £12,498 - £13,132 per annum)

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Contract: Permanent, part time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College)

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a level 3 qualification in relevant discipline and/or relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Experience of the use of online information sources for research purposes would be advantageous. You must also have the ability to communicate in Welsh at a basic level.
