About this Role

May Park Primary school is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to join our excellent Early Years Team. We are looking for someone to work within our Nursery setting, which caters for children aged 2 to 4. We would like someone with a tolerant and compassionate nature, a sense of humor and the ability to work both on their own and as part of our supportive team.

About the school:

We are diverse and vibrant three form entry primary school with a stimulating nursery set in fantastic grounds. Our modern, purpose-built buildings and our extensive outdoor space enable our children unique opportunities to use their creative minds as they explore the woods, Savannah, field and multi-use games area.

At May Park our highly experienced teachers and staff are committed to providing a nurturing environment so that all of our children succeed. By offering an inspiring curriculum, we expect our children to think differently: taking risks with their learning, embracing uncertainty, problem solving, making connections and playing with possibilities.

We are looking for someone who:

  •  Has experience of working within a school setting
  •  Has good communication skills and the ability to develop excellent relationships with children and adults.
  •  Can contribute to providing a responsive, nurturing and stimulating environment for our children.
  •  Is committed to equal opportunities and provision that responds to each individual child and family.
  •  Is willing to support children with medical needs as required.

In return we offer:

  •  A committed, hardworking and friendly team,
  •  A supportive leadership team.
  •  Opportunities for professional development.
  •  Use of a fully-resourced sensory room.

As an Academy we work within the support of Excalibur Academies Trust, which offers our employees many wide ranging opportunities for future professional development.

Visits to the school are welcome, please contact the school office to arrange.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we have enough suitable candidates, please apply early!
