Walton Oak wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and creative individual who can bring high quality support to children in the school.  They will join a hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who are committed to improving outcomes for children in their care.  We are looking for somebody who can be flexible and support learning in a creative way. 

The working hours will be 32.5 hours per week,  Monday to Friday, term time only (plus one week as training hours). 

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Positively promote inclusion and enjoy taking the lead when working with children and inspire them to achieve high standards and realise their potential;
  • Have a calm and caring approach with children, providing diligence and confidence necessary to support our children;
  • Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting;
  • Be a team player who can work successfully in collaboration with all stakeholders and contribute towards the schools ethos and its whole school improvement activities;
